Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2025
Authorised use
You may only scan websites or repositories that you own or have explicit written permission to scan. Domain and repository ownership verification is required before any scan is performed — this is enforced by the platform. Using OWMeter to scan systems you do not control is strictly prohibited.
No warranty
OWMeter is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Scan results are informational only and do not guarantee complete security coverage or the absence of vulnerabilities.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of OWMeter or from acting on scan results.
Open source
OWMeter is open source software. You may inspect, fork, and self-host it under the terms of its open source licence. The hosted service at owmeter.dev is free to use.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted implies acceptance of the updated terms.
